About Abu Simbel: It is well known as Abu Sunbul and one of the Wonders of the World. It is located in southern Egypt along the River Nile about 300 kilometers south-west of Aswan. It is one of beautiful site of two temples built by Egyptian King Rames-2. Two temples were carved out of sandstone cliff on the bank of River Nile.

The temples were shifted to higher ground in the 1960, as the waters of Lake Nasser began to rise following completion of the Aswan High Dam. The Abu Simbel attracted to all tourist due to sound and light show has been introduced in evening. The projections of lights onto two temples showing how they once would have looked. It is declared as the UNESCO World Heritage sight of Nubian Monuments
