Dudhwa Tiger Reserve is located in the Indo-Nepal border in the Lakshmipur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. It is very beautiful wildlife destination of India. As the name suggests it is a major habitat of tigers and since it is covered with swamps and marshes. It is also the home of  Barasinghas or the Swamp Deers.

Top Attractions of Dudhwa National Park

Here you can see many attractions like Frog Temple and Surat Bhawan Palace.
Frog Temple: The main attractions for tourists of Dudhwa national park is unique Frog Temple which is which is 12 kms from Lakhimpur in Oel town. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to be built on the back of very large frog. The architecture of this popular temple is based on Tantra vidya with main opening gate in the east side and the exit gate in the south side.

Surat Bhawan: it is Built in 1894 and located about eight kms distance from Dudhwa National Park. It is made in Indo-Sarasenic style. Surat Bhawan Palace is composed of one large dining room, 10 bedrooms with pantry and 2 lounges. The Bhawan is fully set in a large green, nine acre retreat with its eastern entrance facing the reserve.

Best time to visit: February to April.
Closing time: Dudhwa Tiger Reserve remains closed between June 15th and November 14th.

How to reach: It is near about 430 kms from Delhi, But Lucknow is the nearest airport. Dudhwa railway station is the nearest one which is located near about 4 kms distance. Also you can easily pick bus services from Palia, Lakshmipur Kheri, Shahjahanpur and Bareilly.
Safari Timings: Daily jeep safaris are available from 7am to 10am and 3pm to 6pm.
Entree Fees:  Rs.100 for each person, Guide: Rs.200, Elephant Ride: Rs.600, Gypsy: Rs.1000 per shift 4 persons.

How to visit inside: Personal vehicles are not allowed inside the reserve. You can visit Dudhwa national park by Gypsy, Elephants and recently two tourist Bus will also ply for wondering the tiger reserve.
