Travel Experience in Mumbai Monorail : Starting date of Mumbai Monorail is Sunday 2-February 2014, Monorail in Mumbai will become the first Indian city to use a Monorail. It will be inaugurated on Saturday 1st Feb 2014 and made available on 2nd February for public use

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has decided to extend the monorail timings to 14 hours/day from April 15 2014. The rail will run from 6am to 8 pm.

The Mumbai Monorail will run at a frequency of 15 minutes. The first train will depart at 6 am from Wadala and Chembur stations.
Extending timings would help for reducing the evening rush. Currently, Total services are running 112 for till date.

Lowest Fair : Rs.5 Highest Fair :Rs.11. In First Phase : It will be 8.93 km long. Starting and Ending Stations of Mumbai Monorail :It will run between Wadala and Chembur in Mumbai. Starting Time :The monorail will run in every 15 minutes interval between 7 a.m and 8 p.m. Total Stations : 6 Stations.

In Second Phase : from 15th April 2014 Mumbai Monorail will run at a frequency of 15 minutes. The first train will depart at 6 am from Wadala and Chembur stations.Other stations cover GTB Nagar-Antop Hill, Acharya Aatre Nagar, Wadala Bridge, Dada East, Naigaon, Ambedkar Nagar, Mint Colony, Lower Parel, Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk.
