Kashi Vishwanath Temple located in Varanasi at the western bank of the holy river Ganges, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the most famous Hindu temples in India and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Kashi Vishwanath Temple is the holiest place to visit for Hindu devotees and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. How to reach at Kashi Vishwanath Temple :By train : Nearest Railway station is Cantt Railway Station which is well connected from New Delhi and Lucknow.

By Air : The nearest air port is Lal Bahadur Shastri Babatpur International and Domestic Airport. Air India and Jet Air airpasses are easily available from New Delhi.

By Road : Sleeper Luxury buses, express buses, Ambassador cars are easily available from New Delhi and Lucknow.

Opening and closing time of Kashi Vishwanath Temple : The Temple opens daily open at 2:30 A.M. In Mangala Aarti 3 to 4 A.M. ticket holders are permitted to join. From 4AM to 11 AM general Darshan is allowed.11.30 to 12 AM mid day Bhog Aarti is done.Again 12pm to 7 PM devotees are free to have Darshan.From 7PM to 8.30PM evening Sapta Rishi Aarti is done after which darshan is again possible up till 9.00PM, when Sringar/Bhog Aarti starts.After 9.00 PM Darshan from outside only is possible.Shayan Aarti starts at 10.30PM. The Temple closes at 11PM.

Best time to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple : From 4 AM to 11 AM general Darshan is allowed.

Best attractions of Kashi Vishwanath Temple : 1. North India's largest and oldest university Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is located around 7.5 miles, where students learn about Sanskrit, Hindu Shastras, Arts and Sciences.

2. Main Ghats at River Ganges are most beautiful attraction of Varansi.

3. The forts which was constructed in the 18th century and Ramnagar's museum's are also good attractions of Vanaras.
